○イタリアを代表するカジュアルファッションブランド、ストーンアイランド。創業当初からミリタリーウェアの機能性やデザインにいち早く着目し、ファッションアイテムとして昇華させた。1989年には温度によって色が変化する「アイスジャケット」を開発し、世界的に注目を浴びる。ステンレススチールやブロンズといった規格外の素材を積極的に起用し、常に新しいスタイルを提唱。縫製後に染色を行なう「ガーメントダイ」を得意とする。ストーンアイランドを立ち上げたのはC.P.COMPANYの創業者でもあるマッシモ・オスティである。1970年代中頃、イタリア軍が開いていたビンテージマーケットでは数多くの軍服が売られていた。シェイプ、ポケット、留め具、装飾等のディティール、表面のユーズド感や色褪せた絶妙な色彩、ヒストリカルな味わいを徹底的にリサーチし、ミリタリーウェアの目録を作成。さらにマッシモ・オスティ氏の研究は素材や織にまで及び、カラーリングや加工技術を駆使してオリジナルのミリタリーウェアを完成させた。リーバイス501のデニムや最近流行りのpolarskateのbig boy などの太めのデニムにはもちろんスラックスやディッキーズ874などのワークパンツなどにも合います。状態のいいものはあまりないと思いますのでこの機会に是非ご検討下さい。送料込みで、包装して発送します。
